About

Armando Antonio Ferrara is a PhD student in Data Science, Accounting & Management (track: Cyber-Intelligence and Quantum Computing for Civil Networked Security) at the University of Salerno, where his doctoral research is funded by the Italian National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN). He is also a member of the Internet and Communication Policy Center. He previously served as a Research Assistant at the Department of Business Sciences – Management & Innovation Systems, University of Salerno, contributing to the PRIN project Digital Sovereignty in Comparative Perspective: State Authority, Corporate Power and Fundamental Rights in Cyberspace and the national research program SERICS (SEcurity and Rights in CyberSpace). He holds a master’s degree in International Relations and Security Governance. His research focuses on cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, and technological supply chains, with particular attention to the semiconductor sector, its geopolitical implications, and related security and industrial policy issues.
